Yaz Bon is a multi disciplinary artist, born in London, UK.
Self taught, and painting for 10 years, her bold, colourful oil paintings combine abstract displays of charged colour and fine, often surrealistic detail.
Not everything is as it first seems in these tableaux. Cherubs appear to dance through soft light, filtering through overlaying mists of cloud. Upon closer inspection, themes of revenge, agony, greed and selfishness reveal a complex story, as they interact with motifs of luxury, beauty, wealth and fortune.
